This course reveals the methods used in tuning Sound Masking Systems to a specific curve. The class discusses the need for masking system tuning, along with where to take measurements, site requirements and recommended test equipment will be discussed. The presentation lists the steps necessary to tune both Direct Field and Indirect Field Masking Systems.

Training Center courses include a dedicated training lab with complete systems for “hands-on” training exercises to guarantee real-world, practical training.

Full Day Audio Course with Lab

This class provides lecture style instruction and hands on lab time focused on AtlasIED Audio and Sound Masking products. This course is scheduled quarterly and includes training, lodging in local hotel while in Phoenix or Louisville. The instructor will show students how to “tune” a sound masking system for best results using a Type I meter and 1/3rd octave equalization.

This class provides instruction and practical exercises for the GLOBALCOM®.IP system using Dante® as the HD network audio transport. Students will learn to connect, configure and operate the system and its various endpoint components. Students will receive class lectures followed by the exercises. This course is limited to twelve students per class and is targeted at certified transit integrators.
